Happiness comes in many forms.

Happiness comes in many forms – in the company of good friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else’s dreams come true or in a promise of hope renewed. It’s okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how great that happiness will be. I feel that people get lost when they think that happiness is a destination. We always think that someday we will be happy, when we get that car, or that job or that person in our lives that will fix everything. But happiness is a mood. Like everything, its not permanent. And if people would start thinking that way, they would find happiness more often.
You know, we just don’t recognize the significant moments in our lives while they are happening. Nowadays, our lives are so fast-paced, we often forget to sit back and live in the moment that we are in. There are so many things that we take for granted. That smile on your face when you sat with your friends and enjoyed, that first bite of a meal when you were starving, that first drop of rain after the scorching summer, that kiss of love that you give your Mum every morning, or that hug which you give to the person you love. All of these moments are so precious. I wish we all live in the moment, to notice whatever is going on around them and not just be complacent by their ideas of a living. John Green says, ‘I believe that the Universe wants to be noticed. It is improbably biased toward consciousness. It enjoys its elegance being observed’. So, live in the moment, happiness is not a destination, its a way of life.
